Custom Prevost XL Light Kit with JW Speaker 8910 Evolution 2 (Heated Lens)
Upgrade your Prevost XL with dual headlights from the Ford sourced headlight found on the 1987 F-150 to JW Speaker’s 8910 Evolution 2 Projection Headlight. This JW Speaker model has the heated lens element which offers a thermostatically controlled heating element on the lens to melt snow and ice accumulation since LED headlights do not produce enough heat to melt snow/ice. This model offers the same increased lumens and precision beam control in both low beam and high beam found in the 8900 (non-heated lens) but adds DualBurn technology which maintains the low beam element while the high beam is active sending even more lumens down the road in front of your coach. The photo in the gallery of the JW Speaker 8910 Evolution 2 represents the latest model from JW Speaker which will ship with the kit which has an updated chrome interior bezel compared to the installed pictures.
The entire assembly is custom fabricated from 304 Stainless Steel just like the original Prevost body panels. The interior sub-assembly mounts using the same (3) mounting points as the original Ford headlight. Wherever possible, all new hardware is stainless steel to ensure this kit lasts as long as your coach.
The exterior trim which tightly fills in the space inside the factory bezel is a #8 polished stainless steel which is also referred to as mirror polished. The reflections in the photos should illustrate that it is as reflective or more than the Prevost body panels.
A commercial grade headlight bucket holds the JW Speaker headlight and allows for beam alignment in both vertical and horizontal planes. The polished trim shown does NOT have slots to allow for quick-adjustment of the alignment. Both options are available at no additional cost. Your specific request will be taken at time of order.

We have 1999 XL45 Converted by Liberty Coach. The OEM headlights most of the time were adequate. On a dark cloudy night, they were barely adequate. I looked at upgrade options and almost bought some replacement LED bulbs for the headlights. Then I saw Valentine’s upgrade kit. We were living 30 minutes from J.W. Speaker’s facility and always thought they made stereo speakers. I researched Speaker and discovered they built first class lighting. After getting the Valentine kit and installing it Speaker’s senior product development manager came to our house to see the coach and the installed Valentine headlight kit. Boy did I get an education about vehicle lighting. Original 90’s OEM lighting used reflective technology, Speaker uses projector technology which leverages the technological advantages of LED lighting. We opted for the heated lenses which I highly recommend. The improvement of the Valentine/Speaker headlights are simply STUNNING! High recommend.
